Their customer support staff have an impeccable technical knowledge and are very friendly. Support is available 24 hours a day by live chat or email and has a fast response time.
Upon logging in we were presented with the site news page givingdetails of the latest bonus codes and news. The Carbon Poker lobby consists of a set of organised tabs used to select the variant of poker game, underneath this is a text box displaying a scrollable list of the available games and their statistics. By selecting a game in the list a brief description is displayed in a box on the right. To join a selected game you can either double click the entry in the list or use the button on the lower right. The player’s available balance is displayed in the top right hand corner next to the current time and date. Along the bottom of the lobby are links to the forum, blog, support and other features. Overall the lobby was pretty standard and easy to understand and navigate.
The table has really good quality vector graphics and is re sizeable for multi-table play. We couldn’t help noticing that the actual game table was a little cluttered but after a while we were soon used to it. On the bottom left of the screen is the usual chat and statistics box. Each player is represented by a floating bar which has some unique features. The bar consists of a player’s avatar image, player name, chip balance and any accolades earned. Players can earn accolades for winning various tournaments which are displayed on their bar in the form of various trophy images. A really cool feature of the game interface is the animated smilies which can display various images of sharks and fish on the game table.
Carbon Poker is very popular with players in the US and has a lot of good players at its tables. But it still has its share of loose and weak players mainly found at the low stakes tables, so pick your table carefully. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Carbons tables, and made a lot of friends in a short time. We found the game software very good and fun to use with a truly friendly atmosphere.
